So this is an experimental piece I did after researching the late great Ward Kimball. He was amazing with stylish characer designs using shape, sillouette, spaces, and readability. Nate Wragg, a current Pixar artist, is also flippin' amazing. His blog here: [link]

Anyway, I gave it a stab and my own spin. I also got to play with some colors here. Let me know whatcha think.

What program did you use to make this?
Anyway, I dislike the way the arm is joined to the body, also the hand holding the cup looks a bit iffy and finally her legs could be smoothed a bit more. But I really do like this, especially the cat (which I can see you used a masking effect to colour), nice job

Hey, ty for the feedback. I agree with your points. I've made sort of a resolution that next time I finish something, I'll sleep on it, and with fresh eyes try to find stuff I don't like.

I used Photoshop for this.

i think you did a great job. All the features of the woman and the cat are really well exeggarated so the really do look like the typical woman and cat. The pose and setting is nice too. Actually everything is well done
